The Berrow Cottage Homes
This delightful group of charity cottages was built for Sarah Letticia Berrow in memory of her parents, William and Mary Jane Berrow. The four cottages facing Warwick Road are the oldest of them. Round the corner Nos. 2, 4 and 6 Kenilworth Road, were added in 1891. In 1977 twenty two new cottages were built to a very attractive modern design. Recently a communal room has been added. The cottages are administered by the Berrow Cottages Homes Trust and are a huge asset to the village. They occupy land which was once the village bowling green.
