PEOPLE AND PLACES
The People and Places section of this site includes brief details of significant
people, buildings and other places in Knowle, organized geographically, with a context
sensitive Google map on each of the main pages. There is a short page for each individual
entry. In many cases the Society has more information in its vast database, accumulated
over more than thirty years; some entries may have been the subject of an exhibition,
talk, booklet or all three. Those wanting more information are welcome to email
us on knowlehistory@yahoo.co.uk.
At present very few entries are included, indicated by the drop down list on the
menus above; more will be added gradually, as time permits.
